The 2017 harvest is coming along well. Warm (not too hot) days and below average night time temperatures are creating what may be a really tremendous year for Oregon wine grapes. There is very limited vine stress due to the temperatures being in the low-mid 80s. We are seeing zero signs of plant distress and very fast grape development. Although bloom was almost 3 weeks later than 2016, we have nearly caught up and harvest will only be one week later than last year. This crop has the potential to make some fantastic wine.
