Our main block of Pinot Noir is at about 17% brix as of 9-2-17. We are looking for a range of 23-24%, which will put us in mid/late September. The hot weather is speeding up the ripening process substantially. We will leave a small block of Pinot for our higher sugar (and resulting alcohol content) wines. Our Syrah and later varietals are catching up, although we won't be harvesting those until early/mid October.
